A student who completes this content will acquire skills in data analysis and visualization. You will understand the importance of business understanding and how to develop solid data architectures. You will also learn about development cycles, data sources, connections and data transformations using Power Query. The student will learn about different types of data models, such as flat or denormalized schema, star schema and snowflake schema. In addition, the student will understand the columns and measurements calculated by the DAX language and how to use the time intelligence functions. Finally, the student will be able to convert stories into data models, select charts, create custom visualizations, and design dashboards and reports, using best practices in dashboard structure and design.
